LOL

Lori and I were watching the news this morning the 'news reader' was talking about Executives at AGI that were getting "Retention pay (a raise) because the company could not risk losing good employees".  (We both laughed out loud at the same time!)  Where are they GOING!  How good does it look on your resume that you were involved in a company that had to bailed out by the taxpayers.  If they were that good at what they do why are they after a share of my paycheck!  I don't how it works in big business but in my little world if you don't make the Boss money you will be looking for a new Boss not retention pay because he thinks you are looking for a job.  Unfortunately for most of us we are not going to get a say in how our tax dollars are spent when it is given by the congress to a failing company.   O Well if they make enough money they will have to pay more taxes.  This headline kept me shaking my head most of the day,  I am sure there is more for me to wonder about in the following days.

In a more personal note our dog Honey has not been feeling well for a couple of weeks.  Lori took her to the Vet today and she has diabetes.  We are not sure what will happen to her but are hopeful that giving her a couple of shots a day will get her back to normal.

Great story about retention pay. If only we could all fail at our jobs and then get paid extra because the company doesn't want to lose good people.

Sorry to hear about Honey. She's a great dog.

No - not wonderful smily Honey. That's a bummer. We hope the shots work and she gets to feeling better.
